Trace your ascension from parent's basement to complete web-game dev master.
Act I โ Basement Origins
๐ DEV_END WIKI & MANUAL
The 400-page documentation condensed into 5 bullet points. Read it or don't. Management won't know.
๐ธ Phase 1: Freelance Hustle (Gigs)
You start in your parents' basement with $500. To fund your studio empire, go to the Gigs & Training tab. Perform freelance contracts (like cracked DRM or CSS positioning). Each gig costs Nerve (Chutzpah) but gives quick cash and XP.
๐ป Phase 2: Game Production (Develop Tab)
Ready to build? Go to Develop Game, select a platform, genre, and topic (check for synergies like RPG + Cyberpunk). Once greenlit, click Sprint to play arcade micro-games. Sprints yield Tech and Design points. Chain successful sprints for Combo multipliers. Watch out: sprints add bugs!
๐ฆ Phase 3: Shipping & Live Ops
Once progress hits 100%, click Ship It. Your game will sell copies and passively generate revenue, decaying over time. Release DLC or enter Live Ops to run patch sprints, spin the player sentiment wheel, or toggle useless features (like Pet Loader or RNG Sacrifice).
๐ฅ Phase 4: Office Expansion (Staff Tab)
Tired of solo-grinding? Go to Staff & Office to hire crew members (like MS Paint Specialist or StackOverflow Archmage) who passively generate Tech/Design points for you. Purchase research or pay rent to upgrade your office space.
๐ Phase 5: The Main Quest & Finale
Track your progression using the Quests roadmap in the header. Clear all 18 objectives across Act I to Act V to unlock the final capstone project: greenlighting a simulation about shipping this exact simulation.
